Geopolitics in the three-dimensional world

Abstract

The article is an attempt to show theoretical and practical elements of
geopolitics. The author presents a few types of geopolitics such as academic
geopolitics, wishful thinking, helpful geopolitics and political geography. In
one of the conclusions, the author states that the present geopolitics refers to
two main sciences: geography and history and their derivatives, and methodologically
to cybernetics. In the final conclusions, the author highlights threedimensional
geopolitical reality and states that it is a characteristic element
of contemporary geopolitics, however, does not exhaust its scope of research.
