Loan and guarantee funds for enterprises

Abstract

The article discusses the issue of selected repayable financial instruments
for supporting the development of enterprises (loan and guarantee funds).
In the case of the former, their unquestionable advantage is a possibility of
reusing the funds several times. In the case of guarantee funds, one can state
that although there are only 55 of them, their operations are visible and
often essential, especially for small and medium enterprises. It can be also
stated that this market in Poland is developing intensively. The possibility of
improving the quality and variety of provided services has been taking place
especially since the accession of Poland to the European Union because, in
accordance with the data presented in the article, the institutions use the EU
resources to that end.
